Autism and PsychoEducational Assessments in BC
Starting in the September 2024
Dr. Trista Keating is now registered to conduct Autism and Psychoeducational Assessments for individuals aged 6-18. Beginning in the Summer of 2024, she will be conducting assessments out of her office in Victoria.
The Autism assessments will adhere to the British Columbia Standards and Guidelines for the Assessment and Diagnosis of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These evaluations are thorough, incorporating a detailed developmental interview with the child's parents or guardians (ADI-R) and a structured observation of the child (ADOS-2). Additionally, the assessment process includes evaluations of cognitive abilities, adaptive functioning, and developmental history to assist in crafting an appropriate treatment plan. Please note, speech and language assessments are not currently available at this location.
