Specialized Executive Functioning Coaching Program
Acorn Psychology is excited to offer a specialized Executive Functioning Coaching program for students from grade 6 through post-secondary. This group program will be available in both an online and an in-person format at our Acorn Psychology offices.
About the Program
What?
This program is specifically tailored to students with ADHD, learning disorders, or challenges related to executive functioning. It is designed to enhance their ability to manage and organize daily activities and responsibilities. Students will identify their personal strengths and areas for improvement, and then develop strategies to enhance organization, time management, prioritization, and focus. The sessions will also cover essential skills such as note-taking, study techniques, and test-taking strategies.
Why?
Schools often fall short in teaching executive functioning skills, which leaves many bright teens struggling with these subjects despite their potential. Our program directly addresses these critical skills and equips these students with the tools they need to succeed.
Who?
Students will be placed in small groups (2-3 per group) based on their age.
When?
The program consists of 8 sessions, with meetings once a week taking place after school or in the early evenings.
Where?
The program will be offered online or in-person at our Acorn Psychology offices.
Cost?
The total cost of the program is $1,600. Receipts will be provided weekly in $200 increments (for 8 weeks), which may be claimed under psychological services through insurance plans.
