Gabby is currently pursuing her PhD in Counselling Psychology at the University of Calgary and completed a year-long practicum at Acorn Psychology.
About Gabby
Gabby holds an Honours B.A. in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour with a specialization in Mental Health from McMaster University, and an M.A. in Counselling Psychology from Western University.
Gabby has received extensive training in various mental health settings. During her master’s program, she conducted psychoeducational assessments for children and youth in a public-school board and provided individual psychotherapy for clients of all ages at a community agency in London, Ontario. Since starting her PhD in September 2023, Gabby has been trained in systemic family therapy at the Calgary Family Therapy Centre, offering therapeutic services for diverse family dynamics and concerns. Her approach is characterized by curiosity, understanding unique needs, and enhancing clients' strengths.
In her personal time, Gabby enjoys spending time with her family, playing sports like softball and pickleball, and exploring the city and nearby mountains.
